X-Mas and the Holidays

Scarlett got a grip of Playmobil gear for X-Mas. My favorite being the "Hazmat" crew that cleans up toxic waste in toy land. Finn met her Auntie Violet and gives her the thumbs up. Finn also kicked it on her new rainforest play mat.

On the Eve of X-Mas

We headed down to the birthplace of Richard Nixon (Yorba Linda, CA) for X-Mas again. Finn met her new cousin Lucy and Scarlett did pretty well for herself. I received the new AC/DC box set and a toaster oven. Couldn't be sweeter.

Here are a few more photos of Fionnula. Scarlett taught me how to knit a hat so I made one for Finn. It fit her for about twenty minutes and now it's too small. That's her in her crib with her little piggy.

Visitors and the Beast

Fionnula and Scarlett's Uncle Jen (as Scarlett used to refer to her) and Uncle Matt visited us. Kara took them to tea at the Palace Hotel. They came down to meet Finn and watch Scarlett play the part of Babette in her school's rendition of Beauty and the Beast. I had no idea my kid could sing that good or look that grown up. Time for me to buy her that shawl that she'll be forced to wear until she's in her fifties. You can see a few more photos of Scarlett in the play here.
