We went to the I-talian Cottage in Chico after the big graveyard show. We met our friends, Ronnie, Heather and little Niko. Scarlett tried her first calzone. We explained it to her as being a football with cheese inside.
My brother's gal, Suzie, plays the piccolo. It's like a flute but smaller. She's in a marching band and they had a sweet show lined up at the Mangrove Cemetery in Chico for Memorial Day. Scarlett was not stoked. Finn's a beard puller.
We made our way up to Paradise for a family reunion and for my mom's cousin Ted's 80th birthday. It was nice for everyone to meet Finn for the first time. Scarlett made a friend and sat in a hammock. If you look at the photo of Ted, the little girl next to him asked, "Are you Ted" and he said, "Well, yeah" and then he blew out the candles. Too funny.
My ma came down for Mother's Day and we took her to Muir Woods and then to Stinson Beach to get an ice cream cone. My brother bought a book about mushrooms from the gift shop.
Our pals Brian and Lori got married at a winery up in Calistoga. Again...it was 200 degrees but we got to eat dinner in one of the wine caves. It was nice and cool in the cave. Batman should start his own winery.
We went to see Mem graduate from the masters program at Dominican. We're so proud of her. Luckily it was 200 degrees inside the auditorium and just minutes before Mem is about to get her diploma, Finn obliterates her rig. I had to change her on the floor in the hallway. We made it back for the announcement though and we all cheered!
