YorbaXmasLightShowExtravaganza
Here are some photos from X-mas in Yorba Linda at Kara's parent's house. There is this one section of town that you drive through that has the most Christmas lights I have ever seen in my life. It's similar to this photo if not more so. The guy at PGE watching the grid must spill his coffee on his shorts and have a mild heart attack when these things fire up and people's meters are spinning light pinwheels. Kara forced everyone to watch It's a Wonderful Life and I'm glad she did. It's one of the best movies of all time. Not one of the best movies of all time...Indiana Jones 4...wow. Check out Puff in the bag and apparently everyone owes Huey Lewis an apology because somehow Ray Bans are back in style. Look at Puff telepathically communicating with Layla. Maybe that's how she agreed to wear that sweater.
Holiday pARTy!
We always have X-mas with my parents the weekend before actual Christmas. Check out the quadruple crucial guitar pick bag that Scarlett sewed for my brother! It is neatly displayed on the pot holder that she also sewed him. We had a serious drawing session as well. For some reason, Finn instinctually knows how to open presents. This worries me.
Photo Shoot
Here's a couple of outtakes and bloopers from our X-mas card photo shoot. Kara has this pal who is a really great photographer who took photos of Scarlett when she was a baby and she offered again. She also took pictures of Jimi Hendrix and kicked it cool with all the old-timey, super rockers.
Decoration Station
At first, Finn was afraid of the tree and she had this "What exactly is going on?" look on her face as I hauled this thing through the front door. She also had the same reaction to Santa at first. Scarlett decorated the tree and it turned out pretty awesome. Scarlett and I always seem to have the "6ft vs. 11ft" tree discussion/explanation/argument at the tree farm but I think this was a good compromise.

We made our annual journey up to "Pair-o-dice" for Thanksgiving. Kara made that pie right down there. She even put a cool little apple on top of it. Finn sat in her new high chair that my Pop refinished for her. We got to spend some time with my Grandpa as well. He read Puff a few books.
