Mom and Suzie's birthday

We went up to Paradise this weekend for my Mom and Suzie's birthday. These photos are from the farmer's market in Chico. Sadly, there aren't any photos of the actual party because I got sick and went to bed at 8pm and I'm the family photographer. We bought my Ma a new strainer to replace the one she had that pre-dates early man. Puff still fits in the sink. Last night, she was refusing to go to sleep in her bed and she did a quick run down of every possible person that could rescue her from sleep: Dada, Digi, Mammy, Grandy, Nyan, Soocee...

St. Patty's Day

Green pancakes for my babies! I forced the kids to get out of bed and eat some creepy, green flapjacks. They look sleepy right? Finn's hair is kind of doing a Rod Stewart / Phyllis Diller mash up. That lovely circular asteroid of goodness is Kara's famous Irish soda bread.

Sew What!

Scarlett is making her dress for her Uncle Mark's wedding in June. I've seen it...it's awesome. She isn't hemming the bottom until the last minute in case she grows. Now that's thinking ahead! A confirmation photo will be posted at a later date

Happy Birthday Dada

You can barely see any cake in between the candles. Yes, it's true, I'm 35. Two of my favorite lady pals just happened to be in town so we all went out to dinner and had some carrot cake.

Puff got a black eye on Dad's watch. She fell off the couch and onto my guitar.

Valentine's Day Dance

Scarlett was forced, by 6th grade law, to attend her school's Valentine's Day dance. I'm not technically allowed to elaborate on the evening but the first photo says it all. She did have fun but we got very few details.

Aquarium & Conservatory of Flowers

We took my parents to the unbelievably, constantly crowded Academy of Sciences and the very affordable, totally uncrowded Conservatory of Flowers. Here's a photo of Scarly on the lawn.

Finn Visits the Doctor

Puff went to the doc for shots. Sad baby. She got a cool fish sticker though. She's a big fan of the shirtless vest look.

Science Fair

Scarlett was assigned "Sprotating Cylinders" for this year's science fair. We are really proud of her because she actually did the whole thing completely by herself. Finn was looking fancy in her coat from the Sgt. Pepper's Fashion Baby line.
